RESUME'
Sara C. Hernandez is a makeup artist straight out of the hill country, raised in San Antonio Texas. She attended The University of Texas in Austin, it was while studying, she discovered her talent and love for makeup and fashion.
Coming from a family of artists and entrepreneurs, the transition into a self taught, self made entrepreneur/makeup artist was not difficult for her. Her Grandfather the famous abstract artist Dan Teis, her aunt, Kyra Teis is a decorated illustrator, while her father is a self made business man owning and operating his own company.
After conquering the makeup world in San Antonio, doing makeup for everyone from the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers to various Tejano music stars, she packed up her bags and moved to Los Angeles. It was while spending time mentoring under some of the industries biggest Makeup Artists including, Sharon Gault and Scott Barns, Sara began making her own waves in the world of beauty.
Since moving to Los Angeles she has spent time working and traveling with Prince, Nick Cannon ,Carmen Electra, Eric McCormack, Danny Trjeo, and Lyric Culture, just to name a few. Shes also was the department head to several independent films including American Son, an official selection of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
Her expertise, passion and work ethic keeps her at the top of her game. Sara's style is fresh and beautiful; always seeing the true beauty in whomever is sitting in her chair, she makes it her constant goal to only enhance what is already there and revels in the immediate gratification of a talent that comes so easy to her, but makes people so happy and confident.
